Meeting No 2 - 18 April 2015

 
 
Welcome to meeting No.2 of the club.
 
This week we have a number of activities for you to participate in.
  • Rotary Basics for newer members to read (and maybe some longer term members as well).
  • Two videos to watch. One on clean water which is a priority for Rotary.
  • Two inspirational videos: one on work life balance and the other about a truckie encouraging us to attend an Anzac day dawn service.
April is magazine month in Rotary. In Australia we usually think about our regional publication, Rotary Down Under, which most Australians and New Zealanders receive. Rotarians around the world are required to compulsorily subscribe to one of 31 regional publications or “The Rotarian”, which was the first Rotary Magazine and is the official Rotary magazine. All share certain common information but the regional publications are in the relevant local language and/or reflect issues relevant to the region.
 
We hope you will contribute to our meetings as you become more familiar about how the club operates.
