Welcome to Meeting No 19.

 

This week's meeting material has a great story about crowd funding in Buchan located in a remote part of Gippsland. $600,000 was raised to replace the pub burnt down about a year ago. We already have crowd funding as an area of focus. It seems to me that fundraising of this kind needs projects that are snappy and attractive to the general population both locally and internationally.

 

This week's "speaker" is Meg Rintoul talking about Post Traumatic Stress injury in our armed services.  There is also the website of the Rotary eClub of NextGen  in Queensland and an excellent video on Rotary narrated by Roger Climpson.
